Ruth Limkin is passionate about creating a better tomorrow, with extensive experience starting and leading organisations that contribute to health and wellbeing, whether focused on individuals or communities. Her experience in business, government, community and media provides Ruth with a breadth of leadership experience and an understanding of the various environments experienced by professionals and public figures.
Ruth has developed The Banyans as a luxury wellness residence in her role as the CEO of Summit Consortium Pty Ltd and considers it a privilege to lead a team who embody the values of care, respect and joy. Her interest in health and holistic wellbeing springs from many years of working with those experiencing a need for support. Having researched and written about community and social health, personal wellbeing, nutrition and food security, Ruth has also worked with those experiencing stress, substance misuse, whether alcohol or other drugs, or searching for a greater sense of meaning and purpose. Ruth is equally at home speaking to large crowds, engaging grassroots stakeholders around a bbq or liaising with heads of state or ambassadors in formal settings and looks forward to providing you with the most comprehensive approach to wellness in a luxury residence.
As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Ruth understands governance and strategy and serves as a Company Director for a number of not-for-profit organisations in education, community care, leadership development and child welfare. In a previous role as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of Queensland Parliament, Ruth was Parliament’s coordinator for the G20 Leaders Retreat.
